Jim here are two pictures of my de-modding of my HD-200. I removed the smoked colored wind deflector and added a windscreen. It works well and does what I figured it would. Definitely cuts down on wind hitting my torso.

You can't tell from the picture but I also adjusted my headlight up a bit. The beam hits the street further ahead of me, not 20 feet in front of me... this also moved the high beam and in my opinion works better on those darkened streets.

That looks nice.
How hard was it to adjust the headlight? It sounds like I need the same thing done to my light.

No it is SUPER easy... but it's easier to show than explain... but here is an explanation anyway!

It should to be dark enough to see your headlight on a wall or garage door. In your garage with most of the lights off should work.
The scoot should be about 20-25ft from a wall or garage door. Scooter on center stand.

You need to have your headlight on, so just turn your key to the "on" position (don't have to start the motor).
When the light first shines on your wall/garage door make mental note of where it hits.

Facing the scooter, put your hand right under the headlight (a little to the right side). You should feel a knob, just turn it and look at what your headlight is doing against the wall. If the light against the wall moves down...turn it the other way. Once you move it up a bit you will also want to turn on your high beam to see it too.

Ride the scoot and see if you like the change, you might have to adjust it for at your preference. It's easy once you do it once.

I will try that out this evening.
Is the SYM black piece just 2 screws?

The black piece is actually four.... but you have to pop open the headset, which is about 5 or 6 screws... wedge your hand in and scrape the back of your hand to a bloody pulp... find a small screwdriver that you have to manipulate 1/4 turn each time... took me about 2 hours...

other than that it's a piece of cake Smile
