I'm Mike. My wife, Joy, and I just sold our 2000 Yamaha Roadstar Silverado 1602cc and bought a new 2011 Suzuki Burgman 650 Executive on Saturday, 12/10/11. After 4 years on the big, heavy, awkward and noisy Star, we decided we wanted to downsize, lighten up, stabilize and quiet down. Wow, what a difference on the Burgy! I rode it yesterday and actually heard my cell phone ringing while I was riding! We're looking forward to making some new friends and some fun rides!

Hi and welcome!!!

Spring will be here before we know it and we will be planning some rides again. So keep an eye on the forum!!

Most of our group have smaller displacements than you do (50cc to 250cc), but a couple of our riders have Burgman's so you won't be alone.

Look forward to seeing you on one of our rides real soon!!

Again, WELCOME!

Hello Mike.
So what scooter does the wife ride? We don't have too many women riding cupcake in this group, they have their own scoot.

I miss riding with y'all. Hurry up Spring.

Welcome, Mike and Joy - it will be great to meet you in person! Those Burgmans are so cool. Congrats on the new purchase!

I miss the group rides, too. C'mon spring!

Welcome! I have a 250cc but I am impressed with the bigger scoots. I may be looking for something bigger come spring. The burgman is a good choice.

Looking fwd to riding with you and Joy.

Mike, I've got a 150 and a 250. The 250s do a surprising job of keeping up. I've thought of getting a bigger scoot too; and if I did I think it would be a 400 or 650 Burgman. My biggest problem, though, is that I've bonded so much with my current scoots I would just be adding to the chaos instead of replacing one of them. I need a 12-step program (or a bigger garage). I know I'm not alone in that, but I won't name names. Cool

Hey..... Baby steps.

And Hi Mike, it'll be nice riding w/ya!

P.S. Mike and I work together. I'm thrilled that I won't have the only scooter in the parking lot any more!!!

Welcome! Just like all the disclaimers say, KCSR welcomes all scooters!
Glad to have you - hope we can ride soon.
Watch the forum for get togethers during the winter months, even when we can't ride.
